When the owners of this Palo Alto property decided to remodel, they engaged both the architect and landscape designer to rethink the design options collaboratively. The result is a stunning home renovation which blends seamlessly with the thoughtful landscape design. The front garden, once a standard lawn, is now replete with six different fruit trees, sweeps of purple lavender, and a secret fountain nestled amongst willowy grasses. Walk through the artisan gate, past raised edible beds into a private oasis with a bespoke pool. The family enjoys ample room to play soccer, swim, pick flowers, share a meal on the outdoor dining patio, or a glass of wine around the poolside fire pit. Lush, yet water-wise, plantings throughout are the real show-stopper. Apparently the Palo Alto garden community agrees, as the landscape was chosen for the prestigious Gamble Garden Tour!
